What's the largest site you've worked on?
Project REDSOKS is running on the Valhalla CMS—to which I'm a core contributor—and on a busy day it serves over 30,000 pageviews per day. That translates to nearly 1,000,000 pageviews per month. Neither the Valhalla CMS, the custom code I wrote, nor the server batted an eyelash.
Why do you use Python/Django?

Python: I prefer using enterprise-grade tools. Not hack jobs like Ruby. C# is acceptable, but isn't my platform of choice.

Django: I'm a big fan of the pink pony. Django is a huge productivity booster, is well-maintained, is well-documented, and I've come to be very familiar with it. I'm a contributor to the Django codebase, and feel it suits my coding style well.
